What if a shipment is lost by the carrier?
Sometimes carriers lose shipments. It’s more common for postal carriers like USPS to lose shipments, but even premium carriers like FedEx and UPS lose shipments occasionally. So what happens if a carrier loses a shipment?
Outbound shipment (empty box)
If a carrier loses an empty box shipment, we will fully refund your order. Although ReReady suffers a loss, we believe you shouldn’t be responsible when a carrier loses your shipment.
Return shipment (device)
If a carrier loses a device shipment, we will file an insurance claim on your behalf (if you added shipping insurance). Although this can be time-consuming, we believe you shouldn’t be burdened when a carrier loses your company-owned device.
