What is the refund policy?

Our refund policy allows us to make things right with you, while protecting us from suffering losses we did not cause.

Covers

Our refund policy covers:

  • ReReady mistakes that cause an order to be seriously compromised (fulfillment error, substantial delay, etc).
  • Carrier failures with the empty box shipment, like damaging, losing, or mis-delivering the box. Although we have no control over the carrier, and your shipment would have suffered this problem if you had purchased the label directly from them, we take on the responsibility of getting the empty box to its destination. Please note that we cannot refund orders because of carrier failures with the device shipment, which is why we strongly recommend shipping insurance so we can make an insurance claim on your behalf.

Does NOT cover

With the exception of carrier errors on box shipments, our refund policy does not cover problems we did not cause. That’s because when we follow your order instructions, we incur non-refundable expenses for boxes, fulfillment, shipping, etc. Our policy does NOT cover:

  • Customer errors, like providing an incorrect address, requesting an unnecessary return, paying with the wrong card, etc. That’s because we have no control over the data you provide, and your shipment/payment would have suffered the same problem whether you sent a laptop box yourself or through ReReady.
  • Employee failures, like damaging the device before return, refusing to return the device, failing to package devices properly, etc. That’s because we have no control over your employee, and your employee would have failed whether you sent a laptop box yourself or through ReReady. We recommend having a strong contract with your employee.
  • Customs agency delays, errors, or unexpected duties/taxes.
  • Weather-related delays or damage.
